With all the talk about how awful the convention is I am thinking about going this weekend in Fort Worth just for kicks and giggles... and to record the talks.
Does anyone local to the DFW are have a digital recorder that can record up to eight hours of voice? I'd like to try to avoid buying one.

It's been years since I heard any convention BS.
So, do you want to go to yours too, or do ya want to come down to Dallas to visit everyone?
One of my JW friends went two weekends ago, somewhere in Texas. I asked her how it was and she said "who listens.............who cares?" I was chuckling. And yet, she is a believer.
Elsewhere , i would rather come to Dallas . The only way i would enter a jw anything is to see it being demolished.

I'm planning on going this weekend (June 26 and 27). I can't go on July 2-4 because I will likely have to work that weekend (doing a major software rollout ). I might be able to postpone until the July 9-11. I was hoping to go to the first one because they will be less likely to have tweaked the stupid things out of the talks.
