I had chicken tonight, but I made up my own sauce.
Chopped up a couple of chicken breasts, fried them until just starting to go golden, then pour over a tablespoon or two of sweet chilli sauce, a drizzle of honey, and a dash of soya sauce. Continue cooking until chicken is fully cooked and serve with rice or salad.

Funny isn't it, I like to cook, my lady is a 'valley girl' from L.A and perhaps cooked one meal for me while we were dating. She makes no bones about her ineptetude in the kitchen. So I just ended up doing that end of our relationship, the rest we share pretty equally.

What kind of sweet chili sauce? You mean like an asian style sweet chile sauce or something special?

The sweet chilli sauce I was referring to is the kind that is sometimes served up with fried potato skins or potato wedges with sour cream. It's a thick clear sauce with bits of chilli and other ingredients in it. Do you have the Masterfoods brand in America? That's the brand I used, though other companies make it too. Some chilli sauces can be hot, but the one I use is more spicy than hot.

I believe we do have Masterfoods Brand, I will give a look.
'Buffalo Wings' another good result of chili sauce. Have those down under? Great while sippin a beer, or your beverage of choice.
