Your trip is making me remember when my in-laws took their trip out there a few years back.........I remember my ex-s mom telling us how many flies there were and how bad the bison stunk! LOL! And, they had the same exciting adventures as you and Joy........tire problems, overheating, and I think they even burned a clutch out! Woohoo! Isn't this exciting?? Anyways, I'd go in a minute if I had the means to...............loving the pictures!

hey gang this is WILDFIRE AND YOUARE TRAVELING THRU MY OLE TERRITORY... i met you two in dallas member ,,, i used to live in bismarck ndak. and well lewis and clark thought it was great 100 years ago....and now i am in austin,,,, its a good thing you are traveling there now and not in the dead of winter that was the main reason i got the hell of out there.. the winters are killers...merciless.. at thati really do love the black hills of south dakota... the scenery is great....and the native people have cornered the market for gambling casinos... PRAIRE NITES CASINO WAS CLOSE TO ME.... how far are you all going.....these idiots still think custer was a hero......ummm noooo he was an egotistical maniac who got what he deserved......so guys take care and watch out for the bears and the wolves... they are sacred to the indians....love ya WILDFIRE.....

No, I didn't exactly forget, but didn't get a chance to do it either. Don't even know where to go. Seems difficult while on the road. But hopefully we will be able to pursue it when we get back and before our next trip.

Yes we visited the Black Hills. Monday I hope to put up a report up on it as well as what I learned about Custer and Little Big Horn. Be sure and look for that one on Monday or Tuesday because I disagree with your opinion about Custer. We can debate that one later.
