What Things Did You Leave In Jehovah's Hands???

Just about everything. Ps 55.22 "Throw your burden on Jehovah and he himself will sustain you"

There were all the awkward questions, such as "How come the innocent are going to die a Armageddon? and why are worse people of the past due for a resurrection when decent folk that I know are due to die forever? Then there were the problems in the congo with the elders

Whenever a brother was removed UNFAIRLY from his responsibility, he was told to "be patient and wait on Jehovah".

I saw that - and experienced it,"Be like Moses, they said, he waited 40 years!

Then there were the personal things that I still do not feel comfortable posting on the net... The whole mind set is sooo wrong! Rather than living with eternity in view, I realised far too late that the good lord gives us 70 or 80 years and it is up to us to make of it what we can in that time. Because all too soon it is running out

I've never, even in my best spiritual self of years ago, left anything in Jehovah's hands.

Always, always, always, whatever I can do or fix by my own doing Jehovah needs not worry about. Why burden him when he's given us the power to resolve our own issues?!

I've always hated that silly expression.

Yes, I foolishly thought I should wait for God to correct matters. I thought may be God is trying to correct matters through me and the elders are ignoring him through me (not that I have a God complex).

I waited 30 years and finally realized that the way to correct matters was to leave.

    ok.......nobody laugh please....

    I was divorced...for 1 year...but been separated longer than that...so basically "alone" for 1.5 years.....(after a 20 year marriage to a cheating JW)

I had dated some brothers with a ZERO rating...had "worldly guys" hitting on me right and left. Went to a D. convention and said my final prayer: I am moving to get on with my life...I will not make finding a "husband" my goal. However if it is your will for me to have a "husband"..please bring him to me......

A week later NOdenial walked into the place I worked............(we were both active JW's at the time too)......

We had an instant attraction........informal witnessed to each other.......he lived thousands of miles away...

    Coincidence?????????

We got married 8 months later......

    Started fading a year ago...........Interesting???

I have also prayed for studies as an active JW.....I received them......

When I was divorced I prayed to have enough money to live on..............I lived frugally...yet my needs were cared for...

So yes, I left a lot of things in Jehovah's hands and I was (somehow) taken care of: coincidence??? I am not sure...If somebody has the answer........please let me know.

I waited on Jehovah to fix all those crappy teachings about chronology, annointed etc. etc.

After some time I became aware that I was going door-to-door to tell people to join me in waiting and realized that this did not make any sense at all.

"Hello, I would like to persuade to join the JW. Okay, the teachings are wrong, but Jehovah himself will take care of that at his own time. Wouldn't like to accompany me in waiting?"

That one day I would be able to fulfill my one desire. Attend college to become a teacher.
