The secret of SUE revealed

Ah, Alternative, I see that you're another clear thinker.

You can disagree all you want. Your Beulah can disagree all she wants. That's not the issue.

One issue is why the leaders of Jehovah's Witnesses require their followers to render what amounts to idolatrous loyalty to them. A true Christian would run like hell from anyone who approached him and demanded such loyalty.

Does the fact that JW leaders use a subtle, sneaky method of stealing loyalty from God make such stealing any better?

Another issue is why you and your wife would even want to be associated with a religion that demands such unwavering loyalty. And why you would even want to be associated with religious leaders who are not honest with you.

Do you have answers to those questions? Or will you just keep on kissing the cow?

They demand unwavering loyalty to Jehovah.

Sorry I used up Sue' 25 postings.
She is wanting to say something.

I think things are better for JW's in Europe.

I met some nice folks preaching on International drive
Orlando last May (2000) They seemed really nice.
    Was it only an act?

    To Alternative:

: They demand unwavering loyalty to Jehovah.

No, they demand unwavering loyalty to themselves first, because they demand that if a person decides that their interpretation of the Bible is wrong -- which means that the person would be following his own mind and conscience in deciding what Jehovah wants -- that the person still follow their teachings. This means that they require that a person go against his own conscience -- which is obviously unscriptural.

Just because JW leaders claim that following them is identical to following Jehovah does not make it so.

JW leaders cause lies to be printed in Watchtower literature. Jehovah would not do that, do you not agree?

    I cant argue with you.
You will always have the last word.

You say always the same thing.
Nothing new. Same as last time. And the time before.

You have become bitter and cannot see the wood for the trees.

You will not listen to reason.

    Alternative,

Just curious if you are also disfellowshiped, along with your wife.

    No reason, just curious.

Well, if you stop and think about it, the truth is always the same and doesn't need to change unlike the "new light" from the Watchtower. That should say something about Alan's comments Alternative; it should also say something about a religion that calls their flip-flops "new light."

Obviously, Alternative, you have no arguments or facts with which you might attempt to "reason" with me. If you did, you'd write them down.

Simply making assertions is not 'reasoning'.

You don't like my repeating solid arguments? Too bad. JW leaders are liars, and that certainly bears repeating, because they unfairly deceive people like you and your Beulah. That fact won't go away just because you want to ignore it.

I'm not bitter. I certainly see the forest, and I see the trees. I'm no more bitter about the facts I've mentioned than I'm bitter about the fact that a lot of murderers and child molesters go free.

However, I certainly am righteously indignant over these injustices, and over the fact that JW leaders blatantly deceive millions of people into following them rather than God, and deceive them into living unproductive lives devoted to selling books, and into shunning family members who see the truth about 'The Truth', and into killing themselves and their children over things they should keep their goddamned noses out of, like choice of medical treatments.

So, Alternative, can you actually post any facts? Or real arguments? Or can you only mutter meaningless protests?

    Ok, heres something different:
Prior to 1985(correct me if I am wrong) JW's were baptised "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit"
Now it is "in the name of the Father, the Son, and his spirit-directed (B)Organization.

IDOLATRY...putting the WTS above gods holy spirit.

Alternative, hows THAT for something DIFFERENT?????
