Age Difference?

One of my most starry-eyed passionate relationships was with a woman who was 28 when I was 45 (46? damn chronology coming unstuck!). Mindblowing sex. Acceptable to me certainly; I kept forgetting about the age difference. We only lasted a few months together but the age difference had nothing to do with the breakup.

My other relationships, including my marriage, have all been with people not more than five years older/younger than I am. Mostly coincidence, that.

The woman I pioneered with married a man 20 years younger. She was 40 and he was 20. I was appalled and told her so. Guess who wasn't invited to the wedding? Hahahha. Not many went, and it was at her house. They are divorced now, 7 years later.

One of the women I was in Las Vegas with last weekend, is married to a man 20 years younger. She was 42, and a widow with almost grown kids, and he was 22. They've been married 20 years and are still really happy. He is really good looking too, and she isn't bad herself, but does look about 55. They are building a new home, and she doesn't have to work, and they are financially independent. Sounds good to me.

I know lots of women married to older men, and that seldom is the issue that the other is (women marrying younger men).

Used to be you mainly heard about older men with younger women, it appears the tides are turning....lots of younger men have discovered the joys of older women

I don't think age matters as long as you both feel good about the relationship.

Any age, as long as the woman doesn't have more wrinkles than the shirt that I use as a dishrag.

The largest spread that I know of PERSONALLY, is 17 years. He was 35, she was 18. He passed away about five years ago. She remarried. She's in her late 50s now.

That makes 7 years difference, not 17

Big Tex is almost 7 years younger than me. We met when he had just turned 19 and I was 25 (would be 26 in December). The age difference never mattered to me -- he was HOT!

Nina, that isn't much. My friend that was 40 and he was 20 was just sick. Eventually she figured that out too. By the way she looked older than 40 (weathered) and he looked about 18.

You do NOT look older than Chris. Maybe the opposite. I thought you both were in your late 30's when we met you.

Okay, Mulan, I owe you big for that one! Thanks for the compliment! Most of the time I feel pretty young, so I am surprised when one thing after another starts going out (i.e., I start exercising for my lower back and then my neck starts hurting; I get the neck and lower back under control with exercise and my foot develops plantar fascitis; and so on, etc., ad nauseum).
