    Joanne,
I use to tell my better half of the things I would learn while lurking. He was uncomfortable with my doubts. I think maybe he is afraid that if I continue probing that I will loose some of that sheltered innocence we naive witnesses tend to have. Not too sheltered but sheltered enough - where maybe he feels more comfortable and trusting with me in the borg. than out. Lurking is kind of like masturbation, I'll keep it to myself.

Pay no attention to the troll above, Noidea. Welcome to the DB! You're headed in the direction of life. Real life, outside a manmade pharaisical org who places themselves in a very idolatrous position.
    Glad you're here!

for lurking into the hands of Satan.

    Roamingfeline:

If by troll you mean a Witness, you are incorrect. I am not part of their religion, I know they teach the truth and help people, but I choose to be destroyed along with all of you.

    RCat,
    Thanks,
I thought for a moment I had been judged by the God Squad.
He or it almost sounded happy about my future prospects.

Noidea, welcome to the board. I can relate very well to your feelings of inadequacy in your relationship with Jehovah. I became inactive some time ago, and for the longest time I felt unworthy to pray. When I finally did, however, I found to my surprise that I was not ignored. In fact, my relationship with Jehovah is better now than it was as an active JW.

Welcome Noidea, You are making a very good decesion and be proud of it. I was told by my Grandpa who was not a witness years ago that when you make a decesion embrace it with all you got and never look back with regrets, even if at the time it seems like a bad move do not regress stay with your heart and keep learning and researching more information that will give you a strong resolve, you will end up with just as a strong conviction for your new way of thinking as you did for your old.

As far as your Mother, well It will be hard for her to understand however you can begin planting seeds of doubt by very slyly asking her to please explain to you these things that have caused you doubt.

And remember this no where in the Bible is there any mention of a solitary religion are organization that is chosen to administer Jehovahs direction.

    Once again welcome to freedom.

    Hi NoIdea
One brilliant thing about this forum is you can get stuff off your chest ( anger, pain, sadness,) and others are on your wavelenth. You can also have fun and joke around to lighten the mood.
Loads of information as well and experiences to learn from.
The important thing is although they may condemn the JW organisation, the so-called apostates in here would never condemn YOU as a person in or out.
Unfortunately only your fellow JW's do that.

    Welcome to the confession box.

    Hi Noidea,

I'm glad you're here. I'm a newbie and learning about so many others that have questioned and received answers. I'm slowly 'getting it'. Keep coming back...I need to learn more about the rest of you xjw's! You truly have started the journey to freedom. I've been out 10 years!
