I think that Dubs often celebrate anniversaries just because it's the only holiday they're allowed to!

Nos, I was just wondering because you said this:

This past weekend was interesting. On Friday, my mother took me and my wife out to celebrate her 26th wedding anniversary. My father wasn't invited to his own wedding anniversary dinner.

So why wasn't he invited? Because he is DF'd? He is df'd? If she eats with him at home, then he could have come. Wasn't it strange his not being there? I wonder how she thought she could be celebrating her wedding anniversary if she deliberately did not invite her husband? Pretty dysfunctional. I don't think I would have gone or at least I would have invited him out for dinner around the same time (and made sure my mother knew).

You have my condolences, Nos. I thought my mother was the only flipped out JW. I'm so much happier now that I don't have contact with either parent.

    Blondie (shaking her head)
