appreciates you stepping in and showing assertiveness esp. where she is unable to. So often
we do stay in the background almost grasped in the same fear as the JW's, just because we

It's called control. They control you and want you to do certain things. They act a certain way to ensure that you act a certain way. What you need to do, and what you have done just now, is take that control back. You did the exact opposite of what they expected and wanted from you. That is how you get the last laugh.
I'm laughing with you right now. They are inconsiderate bastards, those Jehovahs Witnesses. It's all scripture, bla bla bla, but when it comes to real life they don't follow what they preach. Shame on them!

for showing Christian love to your Mom. JW's don't have a clue as to what real love is. Glad I'm out too! Did your brother get the message? Or is he too busy knocking on doors to care? Sorry to say that I used to be like him. Once I started my fade, I got real close to my parents a few years before they died. I'm only sorry for the many years I lost with them as a dub.

I'm really glad for both you and your Mom. She will get the help she needs, she still has a daughter she can rely on, and you aren't under the thumb of hypocritical elders.
