No inut on the 'e-harmony' service...
In general, I've signed up on a few of the other services... yall know which ones... anyway... not many good experiences from them, although I have met one gal that seems pretty decent - we just aren't really... well... maybe it's just me.
Simplesally sez... "meeting people through friends, neighbors and work is easier to get to know people in real life..."
This is what I have also heard in the past. So - let me expound on this...
1) I do contract work - mostly from home... so... I don't meet too many people there...
2) friends - I have... well, I can count the number of friends on one hand - excluding the fingers.
3) neighbors - I have a few nice neighbors - I leave them alone - they leave me alone - pretty good arrangement.

4) through religion - or church - I don't do that anymore.
5) socializing - Again... no go here - I don't socialize too much... if at all.
This was the reason for attempting the 'match' services... but I have learned that most of those 'gals' are not real. They are posted to make it look like they have lots of 'members'. Most of the time these gals look like they could be models. Steer clear of these.
Oh well. I think - personally - I will focus on projects here at home.

re the site: i'm dubious of any website that takes money to introdice guys to girls, because lets face it, 99% of good looking girls/women just don't need dating sites because there are enough guys out there to pick them up. and women are more social anyway i think, so i would bet that sites like these are just overloaded with guys, and the few decent girls that are there are overwhelmed.

In London lots of people take classes, you know, like ceramics or bookbinding or whatever. Aren't there lots of those in America too? In London these classes are heaving with women, many single and hoping to find a man. The ratio of women to men is probably about 6 to 1. If I were a man I would just enroll in a flower arranging class or something like that (you might have to fine tune it a bit to find the right sort of women for you), and then wait for the offers.
