"God Protected Our Home in Florida..."

    NOT!!!

I can't stand it when I hear a person saying how God "protected our house," when their neighbor's house lies in ruins. I can prove this is pure, unadulterated, bullshit:

Our home was left virtually untouched, and the house across the street lost their roof. This is a bit funny when you consider how many times I've personally told God that he can go "F" himself (and Jesus too, while he's at it). By the way, it also proves that you don't have to worry about being struck by lightening either.

It is so sad... the very people who have "God" to protect them are the ones who are the most lost and shocked when tragedy strikes. It is much better to learn how to stand on your own two feet, rather than lobbying a supernatural power who promises to MAYBE step in and help... but never does. It is amazing how after such devastation and tragedy, they still say, "God is good."

Good to see you are ok, Doug. I was going to call you and see how you were, but I lost your number in a hard drive crash.

By the way, your home was spared by the will of Satan. He did this in order to deceive you into thinking your abandonment of Jehovah was the right decision. "Transforming himself into an Angel of Light," and all that.

    This is all Bible-Based.

Hey Doug! Good to "talk" to you!

Thanks for setting me straight on the Satan thing. If that's the case, then all I can say is, "Hail Satan!" (FYI, I don't believe in Satan... or Jehovah for that matter... but you know that).

I still have some books to send back to you. If you'll send your address again to me at [email protected], I'll get them off to you in a week or so. I'll also send my phone number.

    Take care of yourself.

Like you, FreePeace, my home was completely unaffected by the storm while just 3,250 miles away in Punta Gorda, Florida, folks got hammered!

I couldn't even SEE the danged storm from my house in Seattle WA - and I looked for it!

Sure, "Jehovah protected my house." Do you know why?

Because he's AFRAID of me, that's why!

I've got the goods on that irritating sockpuppet, and he KNOWS it!

It might be the ULC ............

Glad you lucked out. I remember a sister, who lived on the Big Island for a while, saying a bro. from her congo went around saying Jehovah protected his house from a lava flow, going door-to-door. Later the lava flow went right through his house. She said it was embarrassing.

I was ready to puke when I first read your thread. Words cannot express how disgusted I feel at "holier than thou" assholes who say such ignorant things. So the woman across the street is the spawn of Satan????

I'm glad to see that you were not serious. Those kind of people have always been lower than low in my book. All religion sucks.

Hey! The same thing happened with me, yet I'm about 300 miles CLOSER to Punta Gorda than you!

(Maybe Jehovah [or Satan] IS protecting us, after all.....)

    Nathan,

I remember when Mt. St. Helens erupted in 1980. And you know what, the people here in Florida weren't even effected.

I am suddenly reminded of a simpsons episode, in which Flander's house was destroyed.

    Only Flander's House.

    so he went crazy.

lol, i guess we can always hope that about those people eh?
