In all seriousness, this person probably was extremely psychotic. You're lucky that he didn't end up murdering someone. If you don't think that people who 'find' themselves in a financial situation later in life feed off of people in the same boat. Sad but true.

If you don't believe me, pick up 10 hitchhikers. Don't discriminate! Pick up each 10 individuals, and tell me how many you would consider normal. If you live to tell the tale, please share your story, LOL! I would advise against it.

I would. He is treating you like dirt and you are just taking it. All these 3 hour conversations? He isn't worth it! Why be a "Kevin Doormat"?

Tell him that if he doesn't stop picking at you then you'll be forced to never say "hi" to him again.

If he's terminally ill or not, you don't deserve this!

Bruce should understand. If you both get tough with Kevin, he won't have anything to pick about. Oh and if Bruce is afraid of the money situation with Kevin, politely inform Bruce that he is being controlled. I bet Kevin is LOVING this! He has you both doing all you can to please him, whilst he is a total bastard.

... wow ... This guy is quiet advanted in retardation ... ... I don't know if I'm clear here but ... I wouldn't even say Hi anymore at this point (who is he ? to take so much time out of your life)... I mean you are nice to even want to talk that long with him ! ... I would tell him to write the stuffs (and only in a sumerized way) and as its seems impossible to him to talk short () put in red the most important things - if not I wouldn't take any time to read his letter and send it back to him as not conforme ... this guy is a job in itself Damnit !!!
