Corvin, sometimes leaving a db is the best thing, especially if you have truly healed from the wounds. otoh, we oftentimes overestimate the degree to which we have healed, and find ourselves drawn back for more conversation and self-exploration...and sometimes, we just miss the friends we've made on that db, and wanna pop back in once in a while and say hello.
In either case, best wishes to you , and if and when you choose to post again, I'll be interested in what you have to say.
As one possibly last word of advice: if you haven't already done so, get that IRA/401K cranked up to the max...Kate and I are just now starting (at 52) to invest in our retirement; at your age, you have a much better shot at making the best of your future (financially speaking, and otherwise.)
