My ex-elder husband said there is only one thing you can get disfellowshipped for. Not being repentant.

Okay, I know that isn't what you wanted. Just thought I would start the ball rolling.

    Hey Mulan,

    Interesting point.

A person can be df'd for not being repentant for most anything done.

However, this same person can be repentant for most anything done - and word gets out about what has been done - and there's a good chance he'll be df'd anyway - so the elders can show "they took care of the problem." Having nothing to do with repentance, but the show of cleanliness in the org.

Also, as Fred Franz testified, a person can be df'd for "moving ahead" of the congregation with his own thoughts, even though the person is more correct than the WTBTS. A sin? Worth being kicked out of the WTBTS obviously.

(ala Bill Bowens - ok, he isn't DF'd, but they're treating him as if he was)

    D Wiltshire,

I know for a fact that you can get DF'd for certain sexual acts, even if you are married to your partner.

For example, a couple adopting the "71" position during intercourse can be removed quicker than a bride's nightie.

PS. A "71" is just like performing "69" except that it's with 2 other people watching. HAR HAR!

Let's save some time and instead let's post what you can't get DF'd for.

    Wow. Thread closed.

logi, my thought exactly! pretty much anything you do you COULD be disfellowshipped for. that's why i think the "Borg" is such a great name for the wts...resistance is futile...lolol. and if you do resist they kick you out on your ass!

    Bad breath?

Though it's not a df'ing act, sometimes it should have been, LOL. Ever had to spend a morning in the door-to-door work with someone who smelt really bad???
