Something that stood out to me was the glaring absence of any talks. Maybe they know that the general public would find what is said to be very "cult like".
The WT Society's rules are that any recordings of their conventions are to be for "personal" use only. No distribution is allowed, probably for the reason that you mentioned.
There weren't any comments about the wonderful food service arrangement! (Or how fun it was to drag coolers into this nice arena.)
The quotes I liked:
The young brother who said "The convention is pretty good SO FAR. It's kept me awake." (But he seems sure to fall asleep later during the convention, but there'd only been one session so far.)
The sister who was asked what she learned said that the conventions are all stuff you already know. (Then why come?)
One sister said the hotels were filled by the time they were announced, so their family had to drive back and forth a couple hours. Later, another sister (seemingly an elder's wife) said she was enjoying staying in town.
Then what was this interviewer's obsession with asking all the little kids what they thought of the demon-possessed girl with that strange/scary voice during the drama? One five year old girl, when asked, said "ummmm.... I liked her!". Another young girl thought that a childbirth was being dramatized on stage!
Which leads me to the question ... what are these nice people doing in an organization like THIS ONE?
