I wasn't expelled. My wife and I did a year of research then sent the society and the local elders a long letter detailing why we no longer wished to be witnesses (the Watchtower does NOT teach the truth).

For having a meal in a resturant with my sister.

She had DA'd herself, and she was living with me. The elders said that eating at home with her was OK, but not in public.

I left on my own........but I am sure.......with the visits and phone calls from time to time..........they would LOVE to get something on me to ERASE me completely from the cong. list.

And I truely believe that that time will come.........I am very verbal about the WTS in a negative way.......and eventually.........someone will pick up on my statements and the elders.............my ex fellow dubs......will get HTT (holier than thou) and put a notch in their theocratic pistol grip and DF me or whatever.............Do I care? Not at all. Thanks to JWD, Randy, Ray Franz and many others.........I am FREE............TOTALLY FREE!

technically, i was df'd for 'bad association' and my suicide attempt during my judicial meeting....they tried to pin the whole sex thing on me, but had no proof....bwaa haa haa

I was expelled for "hanging a political sign" in a public place and was seen by an elder and his wife (Ernie & Sue Rose of Cranston Congregation, RI-USA).

It is funny because I had already been absent for over three years and I never accepted any meetings with the elders. So, I heard they announced my name through the liberal grapevine of local renegade JW's.

I quit associating with the Witnesses in 1997, but it took them until 2000 to DF me. My unrepentant sin was associating with a disfellowshipped person. I asked, How can I be disfellowshipped when I'm not fellowshipping?

So I brought my DF'd friend with me to the Kingdom Hall where the judicial meeting was held. I brought him as my witness to testify that he never, under any circumstances, EVER associated with me at all. The elders didn't think it was funny and I got the formal boot.
