How many languages has the NWT been translated into versus
how many languages the Watchtower has been translated into?
Surely the Bible is AT LEAST as important as the magazine?
Does anybody care to hazard a guess?
It is impossible to read your comments without feeling the bitterness and hate you must have, every one of those verses is true (even using NWT)...just because you now disagree with the applications and the settings, does not justify surely such untrue statements you feel have to be made against the society..

If you sense bitterness and hate, go back and read some of my experiences and then tell me I should not feel what I feel. How dare you? The WTBTS lies. They propogate false prophesies and then change them up to suit their chronology bull-crap, but before they change it, they would disfellow you for apostasy if you were to dissagree, and never even apologize to you for screwing you over and slandering your good name and sound mind.
I think they are desperate to try and make their Bible fit there doctrines instead of readjusting their beliefs to harmonize with simple Bible statements like:One is your teacher, whereas all you are brothers.
You are not under law but under undeserved kindness.

Those plain statements (because they did not conform to the organizational "pattern" of interpretation) were/are depicted as distorted teachings giving evidence of "apostasy." How effed up are they to tell you, me or anyone that such basic and clear statements that contradict their teaching signify apostasy? But they do and they suck because of it.

If you believe the above simple and direct statements from the Bible and were to take them litterally and seriously, it would be very hard to believe in the Watchtower doctrine, see my first post in this thread. If you were to show the GB these scriptures (whether from the NWT or any other translation, gdt) and say, I am having a hard time reconciling these direct passages with your elaborate doctrines, where mental gymnastics are required to understand them, they would surely cast you out as an apostate. Because of this same scenario, one GB member along with many others were thrown out of the org after decades of faithful service. While nobody came forward and said, "I am having a hard time reconciling these direct passages with your elaborate doctrines", there was a witch hunt in which many were devastated because they expressed being unclear about WT doctrine, they let their thoughts be known only when pressed hard, and there reward was disfellowshipment.
gdt, I cannot speak to the accuracy of the NWT, but I can speak openly and truthfully about the Society's lies and deception and there is ample documentation to back me up. I speak truthfully about how their teachings are false and their way of dealing with people in the org is cruel and dangerous. Their way nearly cost me and my children their lives. Again, I have documentation. Care to have a go???

Oh? Well, hey, I'll go a round too, gdt. I normally don't agree with two on one, but I'm ahppy to jump into this fray. You don't understand Corvin's pain. You don't understand mine.
It is impossible for you, gdt, to feel my bitterness and hate. Do you know what it's like to have your four year old brother wake up screaming every night because of a society precedent that kept his molester around kids? Do you? Do you know what this is like only a year after you watched your father die? A death that quite possibly could have been avoided by a blood transfusion? Do you know what it's like to see your mothers arm in a cast after an elder has nearly broken her wrist, only to have it covered up by his cronies? Do you know what it's like to have the whole cong avoid you becasue your mom won't keep her mouth shut because her son was molested?
If you don't know any of these things, take the bibles advice and shut up. [edited]

How about you ? are you agree with the society when Jehovah said that the society is the false prophets? according to Deut 18: 18-22 and Jeremia 14:14 - 16
(Deut 18: 18-22 NWT) 18 A prophet I shall raise up for them from the midst of their brothers, like you; and I shall indeed put my words in his mouth, and he will certainly speak to them all that I shall command him. 19 And it must occur that the man who will not listen to my words that he will speak in my name, I shall myself require an account from him. 20 ??However, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that I have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. 21 And in case you should say in your heart: ?How shall we know the word that Jehovah has not spoken?? 22 when the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak. Do you know that The society always says and bring the name of Jehovah in their teaching or even prophecies? what if the prophecies failed according to that passage? do you still stand up for society when Jehovah said to you that the society is the false prophets because of Failed Prophecies or the prophecies does not occur or come true? do you still stand up for society when the society makes Jehovah is God of liar because of Failed Prophecies or the prophecies does not occur or come true?
do you know what would happenned if Jehovah found that you are the one of the society's follower ? please see Jer 14: 14-16 NWT especially verse 16 ?
