To look at the parts and not at the person is ultimately demeaning, no matter how well the object of our attention may accept it.

I can only imagine the pain of coming out of the organization in the way she has. Her story of courage is most moving and will be most memorable to me.

I thought about making this a separate thread, but didn't want to draw too much attention to it, so will say this here.
Maximus, you mean well, but I DO know Venice, and this was all a great fun thing for all of us. She is a very free spirit, who laughs at herself all the time. She is more like her Mom, who laughs all the time too, but her Dad is really serious, and she isn't like him at all. Venice has threatened me online, and said funny stuff to everyone, but she isn't mad. I'm not saying she didn't get embarrassed, but I don't think she had hurt feelings. If she was really upset about any of that stuff, I would have had a phone call, believe me. Or lots of emails about it.
Oh, I know she will get even with me, and try to embarrass me too, and my daughter, when we are camping later this summer, but it's all in fun. And we can take it too.
I do agree it's time to let that story die. I brought it to the top last night, just in fun, but I'll stop doing that.

I don't know Ven, So I can't say much to her feelings on the subject. But if you look at the thread she did post allot and each time that was done it helped fan the fire and bring it to the top. I'm with you I think Ven is a great sport and allot of fun. I am looking forward to what she will do to you and princess for pay backs. (we're counting on you Ven)
Maximus just sounded so powerful I had to do the good JW thang, and make my brownie points. I miss many a meetings these days and it just brought back so many memories of where one's nose is expected to be.

OMG I just got home and saw this thread!!! Thank you Maximus!!!! Wow this is almost more embarassing you guys are great.
I really appreicate all the Kind and warm commetns here ((((HUGS)))). When Mulan first posted that thread I was about to die of embarassment hahhahahha!!! ohh man, but it was all in good fun. It's a 'situation' I've had to deal with since Junior high so I've gotten used to being able to laugh it off. I'm glad we all had a good time with it and that it didn't go TOO far, almost though!!!
