I have heard that sometimes, TV performers make these things just to let the steam out.

Nearly - this was made for an out-takes competition.

Still, these dirty dirty people were entertaining children... *tut tut tut* Rainbow was the best!

Has everyone listened to the Zippy clip at the bottom of the page. Looks like they were on Jim Davidson comedy show (I think) at some point. Strong language but it sounds so funny when its coming from the puppet

OH Gawd! This brings to mind the Death to Smoochy episode where Rainbow Randolph gives out his special cookies. "It's a, it's aaah, it's ah... Rocket Ship! Look kids it's a ROCKET SHIP!" lmao!

The orange character is the one that DH uses sometimes as an avatar right?
I love naughty muppets, they're the funniest thing to me. I used to play with my nephews' muppets/hand puppets and make them puke out legos and small toys.
