Two of my sons fell in love with wonderful women, who were plus sized. I loved them even more, for making the choices for wives that they did. Absolutely wonderful.
I have a niece who is very overweight and has been since she was a little girl. She was married in May to a very nice man, who is making her very happy. He fell in love with her, and her amazing personality.
Another wonderful woman in her 20's, who is quite a bit overweight, was married this year to a man who loves her very very much. She is one of the most intelligent, funny and talented women I've ever met.
There are lots of men who don't care how much you weigh, or if you are a "trophy" wife...............they fall in love with the person. I wish there were more like them.
By the way, my husband is like that too. I am overweight and he lets me know all the time that he doesn't care. After 42 years, I should hope not.
I think women are the ones who are hard on other women. We all need to accept each other as we are, instead of judging by the standards we see on television, which is all exaggerated and artificial. Many of those women look like living skeletons, and are way too thin, another problem in my opinion.
