    Gospel of Thomas, l. 7:

Jesus said, "Lucky is the lion that the human will eat, so that the lion becomes human. 2 And foul is the human that the lion will eat, and the lion still will become human."

I haven't found an online English translation for the Bodmer 41 of the Acts of Paul, so I'll try this second-hand translation from a French version:

Then a huge hungry he-lion came up... when I finished praying, the beast was lying at my feet. Then I was filled with the Spirit, I looked at him and asked him: 'O lion, what do you want?' He answered: 'I want to be baptised!' Then I gave glory to God who had given both a voice to the beast and salvation to his servants. Now, there was a large river in that place. I went down there, followed by the beast. (...) I led the beast by its mane and, in the name of Jesus-Christ, I immersed it thrice. When it came out of the water, the beast shook its mane and said: 'Let grace be with you!' And I answered: 'Let it be with you too!' Then the lion ran up to the field of bones, very happy -- this was, in effect, revealed to my heart. Then a lioness came to meet him. But he did not go to her: he went away and ran to the woods."
    I really love this one

Thanks nark for bringing that nugget of spiritual truth. So paul was the first to baptise a lion? W his key to the kingdom of the heavens, he opened the way for salvation and heavenly life for lions? Priceless.

    Nark,

That is funny. Funny how some can attribute imorality with nature. It would be disaster if all nature was run by man's moral codes for mating.

Its hardly surprising, lions these days are mere infidels & pagans, like their forefathers, they have no respect for chrisitianity. ~>~
