Oh Candidly that hilarious. I remember going up to a door with a pioneer lady and this woman came to the door and said it was her mother's house and that we should never come back because her mother was Catholic and wasn't friendly to JWs. I was probably 8 at the time and all I knew was that Catholics were bad, so when she said this I gasped really loud and then I started crying. This lady at the door looked so sad for me and said she was sorry about her mom and patted my face.

One of our elders had a senile, very elderly father that he took everywhere with him. The old guy went out in service almost everyday, because he couldn't be left alone. One of the pioneers said he said this at a door: "I used to sell books for the Seventh Day Adventists, and was their top salesman in the country. Then we joined the Jehovah's witnesses, and now I sell their books."
He was mortified, but the old guy really went through the literature.
