These people never cease to amaze me. If you were fading, I doubt they saw too much of you. What if you were in a bad place emotionaly and their comment about your father pushed you over the edge to attemp suicide. These people have no clue!

I read some of their silly posts on one of their boards, the dating ones are the worst, and I asked myself, "My god, did I sound like that?" I remember distinctly, thinking that we didn't sound goofy and corny like the super duper fundamentalists do with their "Praise Jesus"es and their "Praise the Lord"s.

JC are the pits, I've been through 3 at least ( can't remember for sure, maybe 4). They always use the same techniques though to try to drag you back. They use your believing family as leverage, saying how disappointed and sad your family is that you left. That's a big deal to a 17 year old kid with a big heart. My question was "What about me? Am I to do something I don't want to do, for my family?" That doesn't matter though.
It's great that you didn't fall into that trap as I did when I was younger and not as strong. And being DF'd or DA'd is much better then the fade, if you want complete seperation from them. I've not been to a meeting for a year and a half, and just before I read your post there was a knock on the door, encouraging me and my wife to attend the CO's visit tonight. Mrs. Kwin wasn't here, so I said "I'll pass it on." (So there! It's been passed on.) But what I'm getting at is, you won't have to worry about getting that knock on the door. Good for you!
