That is just ignorant.
Don't either of you guys have people you care about who are JWs? I do, and so do lots of other people here. It's not cool to wish harm to come to people, even if they would do it to us. I sure wouldn't want anything bad to happen to any JW family members of mine
Well said Scully.
one down..... 6 million to go.
I would hope that they were joking in very poor taste. I hope, at least.
It is a sad paradox that a person's religion would prevent them from accepting a blood transfusion, but would not prevent them from hitting a person with a pipe in a parking lot - that is, if the pipe story is true. The true murderers here are the governing body. They have sentenced thousands to death over a senseless and unnecessary policy.
The lack of a transfusion would not negate a murder charge. It has been tried before, and it has failed as a defense.

Well said scully.a reasonable point. My Parents are still in it.
Well said Mercurious too.Totally agree.
[edit]
Havent People been banned for this kind of extreme hate speech in the past on here?
Well, his religious beliefs wouldn't let him accept blood. However, those same beliefs sure couldn't instill in him patience and self-control, huh?!
After reading the whole story, I feel compelled to say that in this particular case if he would've displayed the Christian qualities he's learned from the Bible, he wouldn't be put in the position he was.
It's ironic how it's emphasized that because of his religious beliefs he died, but not because of his personal choice to display violence.
My point of view and I'm sticking to it.

I say that he died as he wished to live - therefore he got what he wanted. We should all be so lucky.
He was still pretty brave to refuse the blood even on his deathbed. Can't take that away from him.
I think that he was deluded and that his beliefs were wrong; and I wish I could have reasoned a little with him about the matter and maybe he would still be alive. But that is all water under the bridge, now.
But as for actual hatred? Nah. Waste of time.
As for him losing his temper, I mean, who here has maintained perfect control of THEIR temper all the time? Never gotten into an altercation you regretted? I mean, not losing your temper is the best way to live, but people can't do it. Ever say something mean to a relative? Ever snarl at an elder? Ever shout or yell or threaten violence? Ever even think, "I want to kill them?"
Still, it would have been good if he hadn't hit that guy with a pipe. That's a bad idea in any case. Bringing a pipe to a gunfight? Unless it's a peace pipe, you're pretty much screwed.
CZAR
Ok Lets calm down a bit please
PR & Mkr - your posts have been edited, anymore posts inciting hatred will result in your accounts being suspended.
Dy and czar.
It is thoughtful and dignified comments like those that will do far more good making JW,s think twice about so called"apostate reasoning",than vitriolic hate which will just do lots of harm and undo lots of good ,genuine work.
Good work imho.
