(((Tim Horton))) thanks for sending the good thoughts my way, hehe the sleepy tiger was a friends idea!! we discussed what my next avatar picture should be. The person told me I was like a tiger....I din't think so not as in "retract those claws" so the lazy-you-be-good-to-me-and-mine-I'll-be-good-to-you. sleepy kitty did fit.

I am overwhelmed with the love from the forum and the flowers and phone calls I keep recieving.

My Mom just called last night to check on me 4 days later...But then she was busy with her friends daughter spending the holiday with her and they have been "so busy" oh no problem Mom I understand,,, she kept saying 'so your okay then well thats good'.... uhm no mom I'm not okay....then I get a ' if I'm not home by Wednesday could you go to the bank {60 miles from where I live} and take care of some banking for me?'.... Uhm "Mom my car is broken beyond repair" not to mention how my body feels... I speak English. She Speaks English... I just don't think she Hears in English.... sorry. I'm not trying to turn ((((((XW))))) beautiful thread into a pity party.

((((bem))) We are all entitled to a pity party once in a while and I'd say with what you've been through- you are due !! I wouldn't consider any of it whining by any stretch ! And I'm sure it hurts to have your Mom acting in an insensitive manner at this point. Try to think of YOU only at this point and rest up.

I'm off line for a few days and look what happens.

broken ribs are painful along with all the other pains that an accident can invoke.

I remember an accident where I didn't seem hurt at all until... the next day. Then I thought I was gonna die. Everything hurt!.

Lay back, take care of yourself.

and bummer about your car. You never get the true value to you from an Insurance Company.

I have a new car picked out for you I'll try to get a close friend of mine to put it up on here for you.

(((((((Frannie))))))) and ((((((((K)))))))) Thanks ladies, I spent the day at hospital today and ribs on both sides are broken. My right ankle is really swollen.more x-rays. And bruises are still surfacing.

I'm anxious to see the car, Special K.

SO sorry to learn about your accident! It's taking me forever to catch up with so many missed posts-sorry for the delay. Broken ribs sound very painful. Hopefully you'll feel better and stronger each day.
