is this your first marathon? I remember mine, such a rush crossing that finish line - quite a sense of accomplishment. Watch out for that wall and remember to drink plenty of fluids. (Upwards of 12 quarts)

No, it's my second marathon. I ran one in January.
Won't be drinking 12 quarts though...not enough pit stops on the route. I'll keep hydrated though, there is a water/gatorade stop every two miles and Steve will be at the 9 and 15 mile points with drinks for me.
My kids are planning on running the finish line with me again too. I can't wait!

Well.............how did Rachel do? I cain't believe they didn't rush somewhere to a damn computor this morning and let us know how she did. I been sittin here waitin all morning for some news.....and nuthin.
I'm thinkin Rachel fell down and hurt her knee and is sittin in some lonley doctors office somewhere cryin....wishin she could be here on the forum tellin us all. Poor little thing.

Seriously now......hope all went well. Now go take a shower then tell us about it.......

Alright Gumby, you can stop holding your breath.
My un-official time was 4:32:12. Better than the last one but I was hoping for closer to 4. Oh well, my knee gave me a lot of trouble and slowed me down the second half! My kids were there to run across the finish line with me again. Dad and Mom were there at the finish too!
I haven't even looked at the pictures yet but I'll do that now.
Yay! I'm done!
