Thanks for the post. How is John? He was the main reason I went to meetings for the last 5 years or so of my witnessdom.
They want people to pioneer because when you are pioneering you don't have the time or energy to think about yourself or your future. It becomes a very rote practice.
I know I hadn't given any real thought to my life while I was growing up because I thought the end would come. When I stopped pioneering I had no grounding for a life in the real world.
Now, 20 years later, I am laying plans for my new life, the life I always wanted to live. I hope I can do it. I think I can.
