What a bunch of lying basturds they are . Not a religious organization . These people lie all the friggen time yet are the loudest in saying they have the truth . I need to get that COC book . I notice the WTBTS does not admit bribing officials in mexico to get out of military service .
something in crisis of conscience i didnt know about... that shocked me

we're taught in the hall to be so self righteous. how we have the truth and no one else does. how our work is so important, kept so busy that we swallow their explanations of " new light" without choking on it.
i'm appalled. i mean really if even only 10% of CoC is true (and i dont doubt that its all true) it still exposes the wtbs as not being what it proclaims to be.

the one thing no mentioned here that I saw, is at the same time, they were also having the Witnesses bribe government officals for a card saying they did a year of Military service, even though they had not. On the same note, and at the same aproxmate time the brothers in Malawi were being killed for not buying a party card, that pretty much did nothing then said they were registered citizens of Malawi. There was only one party, no competition, no voting required, just register.

My first trip to Mexico was shortly after their ban on singing was lifted. The one meeting we attended had singing and the bros and sis' were completely unused to having that.
When I read in CoC that it wasn't quite as "innocent" as being allowed their religious freedom, I was disgusted. -

Hi Candidilynuts and everyone,
There's still one thing that I just don't get though and keeps troubling me. So they didn't register as a religion in Mexico because of the land registration, and we all agree that this is a maximising profits operation. But why? Are there any shareholders? Is any one in particular or any group in particular making big bucks out of this operation? Really why and for who? This is one big, big business but what's the motive?
It's got to be seriously twisted to be making money for money's sake and not be benefiting from it yourself. The purpose of being in business is profit and that's fair enough. But what's their motive?
WHERE IS THE MONEY AND WHY?
They're an organization that doesn't give a fig for their member's physical welfare so what are they doing with it all?
Who is holding the purse strings?
