I have been wondering who is the President of the Watchtower Society? My mother told me that Milton Henschel died in 1993 and I have not heard of anybody ever replacing him? My mom also told me that the society has 7 new corporations within the Watchtower Society. The Christian Congregation of JW's, the Religious Orders of JW's, I don't know what the other 5 corporations are does anyone out there know? My mom said that The Watchtower is expanding so rapidly that they had to create these 7 new corporations to supervise different functions within JW's. The Christian Congregation of JW's oversees doctrinal matters, Religious Orders of JW's oversees missionary work and pioneering matters etc; My mom is boasting that this is a sign that Jehovah's spirit is overflowing within the WTS because we are near the end of this system of things and that Jehovah will speed things up near the end. I have heard this before.
Who is the new President of the Watchtower Society? And are there 7 new org

I don't think it's a big secret that the JWs have multiple corporations working for them. It's all due to changes that happened a few years ago when the governing body "officially" stepped down from their position from the WTBTS. It is basically in case of lawsuits. Like you said, the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Inc. oversees doctrinal matters, and if I'm not mistaken, they handle the appointments of DOs, COs, and elders. So then what happens, if someone sues the JWs over let's say their handling of a particular child abuse case, and they win, the WTBTS will be protected and they'll be able to continue their book publishing business.
So the moves of the org are not a sign that they're being blessed by god with rapid expansion, but rather that they're making smart business moves, and trying to cover their assets.

I believe the new WTBTS President is a man named Don Adams. He is not on the GB. If I'm wrong, please let me know as I would not want to misinform others. Thanks.

Actually, I'm 99.9% sure that he is not part of the GB. The whole point of splitting up into multiple corporations and the GB stepping down from the board of governors back in 2000 was to make sure that they would not be liable in any lawsuits involving the WTBTS or something like that.

My thought entirely.

No religion needs even one corporation to do business as a religion. It's a straw man. The corporations are fire walls for a huge rich business.
Look at what has been done in the past. It's all done to expand profit points like manufacture and distribution of literature and construction and expansion of real estate. They don't even try to hide it. They just make the claim that God is doing it all and then they go to the next business level with impunity. -

In my humble opinion, there may be other forces at work here too. I think the WTS would like to be considered 'mainstream' - it adds credibility. These corporate fronts add some bogus legs to that effort.
In addition, I have noticed in several press releases and official reports from the watchtower that they, not infrequently, have referred to the organization as 'the church'. Another ploy for credibility. Could that be the game here?

According to the Jan 15/05 WT, the president of Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society New York, Inc. is a man named M. H. Larson, and the Secretary-Treasurer is a man named G.F. Simonis.
I remember when they did the whole switch-a-roo making the prez. a non-GB member. They said from the platform it was so the GB could focus on "the more important things" and leave all that legal crap up to someone else.
