whoa. what a beautiful voice. Thanks for pointing her out, Englishman!
I'd love to hear her sing a duet with Josh Groban...
Gawd...hearing music like this always makes me so sad that I didn't take that scholarship when I was 18...

I grew up on Opera music. My mother was in training to become an Opera singer but she ended up with husband and a daughter on the way instead. She has a beautiful voice.

I am sorry Englisman but Ms. Jenkins is no more of a REAL opera singer than Andrea Boccelli (whose music i very much like).
Let's face it these pop-star come-lately opera singers who prefer to sing into a microphone because they don't have the true vocal power to reach the top of the house do not deserve our adulation as OPERA SINGERS, which is why they are more often called "classical singers."
If you REALLY want to see a real opera diva babe then check out Ms. Anna Netrebko who will be playing Juliette here at the LA Opera very soon.
