JTP: What's the point of being given life and free will, if you aren't free to exercise it?

Exactly! But so few JWs understand what free will even is and fewer still how to exercise it.

The self-righteousness was something that REALLY pissed me off! One time a memorial service was being held at the little airport we all flew out of, for a friend who had died in a recent crash. We all felt terrible for the loss of a good pilot and friend. My JW ex boyfriend said self-righteously that he wasn't going to the service because he was "a resurrectionist" and didn't believe in this guy's particular religion. It wasn't about religion-it was about respect and friendship. I hope he gets as much consideration if he ever bites the ground.

JWs look down on people from other religions that die. That's why they don't say, "They'll get a ressurection". Instead they say, "They'll have a HOPE of a ressurection".....When faithful JWs die, they ARE remembered by Jehovah in the ressurection.
