I am not confused.. but think about it. Like when i posted my question. what sports are ok with jehovah. I got alot of responses from people that hate the truth. If you not a withness anymore you dont have any obligations to it. you are free to do what you want. why post in witness forums? I think you guys are all cool, but i'm just askin... not trying to disrespect anyone. seems like you guys are still attacted. like the the borg. One mind One body but as soon as you leave the you feel lonely.. i don't know explain cause if was disfellowshiped or left i would be playing yahoo games, and hookin up. please explain.

I'm just saying. Not hating or directing this at anyone. But if you guys hate the Jw ways so much, why stick around the forum. the internet is full of things to do. Why stick around here if you are disfellowshiped or just fell off. Why stick around to a place where peeps don't really want you around? .. I'm not saying i dont want you around but hey lets face it. if the shoe fits.. then ... you know what i mean?

if you've read any of the posts on this board, the majority of people who come here xjws or otherwise son't hate the rank and file jws. I for one have a distaste for the society which i think is evil incarnate but i love my jw family.
Also this site isnt for jws (who are instructed by the society not to come to sites such as this), it's for those who want to leave, who are leaving, who have left, who have be disfellowshipped, disassociated (either by self or by the society), those who are and have faded, friends of jw and xjws, spouses of jws or xjws, those who were raised as jws but never got baptised...have i forgotten anyone? Please let me know.
So if you are a jw it's you who may not be wanted here not the other way round dearheart.
Actually you can stay if you play nice.

Anybody who wants to discuss the religion openly is welcome here. Of course, JWs are expressly forbidden to come here, so we don't see too many apologists for the Watchtower cult. Those who do come here usually change their minds about their religion or leave.

Instead of flapping your gums, why don't you show us what we are saying is wrong?
Say over the blood doctrine. Or the UN Library Card scandal. Mexican Marching Cards? New Light? Extremely dubious and out-of-context use of material in the various 'Creation' series books?
If you have anything that can show us we are wrong, do it.
Otherwise you are just an empty vessel, deceived and lost, striking out at us because of what we say.

Ok check this out.. here is an example.. you break up with your girl. you still have pictures of her all over your room, the letters, the cards, but yet you talk crap about this girl. but you still communicate with this girl cause your family still likes her..

Hehe...but seriously, read my comment. That is why I am here. But as for playing games...I get plenty of FUN time in too, but leaving a religion is not just about having fun. I did not leave FOR THE PURPOSE of breaking rules...thats insulting actually. But would you beleive that people leave because their religion bothers their conscience? The main reason I left? I could not be a feminist and a JW at the same time and not feel like a hypocrite. I chose my ideals and principals over a religion I felt was damaging. Being a JW does not make a person ethical or moral. Not being a JW does not make a person unethical or immoral.
But I have a lot of things going on, and I come here because everyone here is cool and helps me. Why not? -

Perhaps I can restate with better clarity: this is a site ABOUT JWs, the religion, what it did, what its doing, etc.
Therefore it is PERFECTLY named, and NOT ironically named.
What do YOU think a forum about the JW religion should be called, perhaps "Bread Bakers"??? Now THAT would be dishonest.
Try putting the shoe on the other foot. Suppose the topic of this website were for (both current, former, lapsed etc. Catholics and their relatives, wouldn't it make senset to call it "Catholic Discussion Forum"?????? Of course it would.
Try to understand this: just because a discussion is ABOUT something doesn't mean it has to be slanted one way or the other. This web site is about JWs, and is for current and former JWs, and provided stories and insights about the JW religion and experience sharing.
Everyone is welcome here, even those (like yourself) that don't really understand what its all about.
