My dogs are practically always in the same room as I am. When I go upstairs to my bedroom or to the computer room (I am doing my work at home), a few minutes later the youngest two are following me upstairs - one always managed to squeeze herself under my desk (in a very tiny place) and the other is laying in the portal between the 2 rooms.

The third (eldest one) is afraid to go upstairs. I think he has a trauma: every time in the past when I forced him to go upstairs - oh horror - he had to go under the shower. When I am in the bedroom, Daisy & Misty are both sleeping in front of my (open) door.

When I have to leave them at home for some reason (most of the time I am taking all three with me and left them in the car - which is oke for them) they don't know how to curl around me and jump on me to show me how glad they are that I am back......

Several years ago I was working on Monday upstairs in an office with carpet on the floor and the rest of the week in my office downstairs with rubber on the floor . Uhleska was a young puppy then and was'nt trusted to alarm me in time when he had to go "out" He was'nt barking or peeping, he was only walking in circles for the door and looking to me and beeing at work, I not always noticed it. So on Monday I left him at my mother's place. She several times told me that he was looking the whole day to the door where I disappeared.......

It was never my intention to have more then 1 dog, but I am just happy that I got the other 2 too.

I do have so much fun with them.

well...........I know I miss my dog... the one I had to leave behind when I moved from Minnesota to Cali..

but I do know that he got such good treatment that although I am sure he missed me.. he was fine.. when I saw him last which was about two years after I had moved... sure he knew me.. but he loves his new owners..... he is doing just fine.. better then me I think

I swear some people can be so freakin anal!

I have been letting my dog off her leash here the last couple of nights. She is harmless, afraid of everyone. If I am not out with her she will not run off too far and if she does, she comes back in a matter of minutes.

She is such a sissy-dog but, we love her.

Anyway, as I was saying, this later just told me to keep my dog on a leash. Whatever, those are the rules but come on, people.... can't they just relax a little. I do not see what the big deal is.
