I just watched The Breakfast Club for the bazillionth time. I always turn 15 again when I watch it. I need to score the DVD, it isn't the same when they clip out scenes and rewrite the "naughty words". That movie really captured the teenage soul, or at least what teenagers think their soul is.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. Again.

That movie rocked, dude. My favorite during that time period was Pretty in Pink, and it has the same effect on me, instantly I'm 15 again. Absolutely loved that movie, but to this day I'm bugged by the fact that she went off with the rich dude at the end- she should have gone with Duckie, and we all know it.

Classic part of the movie is when she put the diamond in his ear!

    I love that movie!

I think I will go out and get it soon!

Oh great, you re-watchted the movie. But....

But what if there's a fire?

I think that violating fire codes, and endangering the lives of...... children.... would not be advisable at this juncture in your career.

I was like 7 when it came out.. but I still appreciated it when I grew up. I've often thought being a teenager in the 80s would've been great!

The 80s turned out a lot of good teen movies. Breakfast Club was one of the best because it showed that all teenagers, no matter how pretty or popular, have worries and problems.

One of my favorite 80s teen movies, a John Hughes film, was Some Kind Of Wonderful. Great writing. Great acting. Even better music. This is a good link for teen movies: http://www.hollywoodteenmovies.com/SomeKindOfWonderful.html
