Breakfast club was fit, but I'm more partial to trainspotting. Call me depraved, but I usually can't watch a movie all the way through unless it contains drugs, killer zombies, or boobies. All of the above is well preferred.

"Breakfast Club" was one of my all time favorites.....
I watch it whenever it comes on...and I really like the theme song.
( my kids watched it with me once and thought I was a nerd) ? But what do they know.....

Geez, haven't thought about that movie in years. "The Breakfast Club" and "Say Anything" - pretty accurate depictions of high school in the 80's.
Geez, has it really been 20 years since my hs graduation???? lol

Even though I was a teen in the early 70's, the Breakfast Club was great! One of my all-time favs.
On the outside I was this upstanding JW Elder's daughter. I was a good kid, inspite of it. But inside I was Alley Sheedy's character: Bohemian, anti-social, artistic, and an oddball, right down to the dandruff as show. She even looks like me in a lot of ways. (Not any more... I've grown sideways).
Thanx for the memories
Bren
PS Most fav movie is Fisher King.

Oh man, we had the movie poster hanging in my homeroom class. I loved that movie. But my all time favorite 80's movies have to be Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Better Off Dead.
I would give anything to go back to high school again. What an incredible time. "We are sexy, we are great. We're the class of 88"

I was in the class of '88 as well. I liked the fact that no matter what year anybody else scrawled into the desk or wrote in their text book, you could easily change it to 88!
