Maybe she's auditioning to be one of Bill Clinton's interns.
omg lol
nilfun, I agree it is pretty sad how our media works and the all mighty
powerful "dollar" talks! I hadn`t even heard of this case! My heart goes
out to her family, it`s even more sad that they havn`t found her 5 year old son.
I'm sad to admit that I invested considerable time and emotion in following the OJ Simpson trial a few years back. I didn't get much back on that investment.
Now, it seems stupid, just as those people in the pictures look pathetic to me. And yet, the truth is, a great injustice and horrible crime happened when he killed Lacy. The only thing that makes investing so much of our time and emotion into the crime/trial/hope-for-justice silly, is that this one particular crime (just like OJ's crime) is a mere blip on the radar screen of all the crime and injustice that goes on in the world.
No one should be senteced to death based on the evidence presented in this trial. It was all far too circumstantial.
Six,I hear u. I too watched the OJ trial closely and it seems all America was effected. I really do believe that is one reason people are so horribly upset about this crime, it being another wife killing and people fearing the murder would just walk away like OJ. These are gross crimes and it just drives people crazy that our justice system let an obivious murder walk free and now I think they want to make sure this guy pays. IMHO
Yeah, the media sensationalizes events like these. I remember sometime last year a a young girl killed one of her best friends by stabbing him to death. The scene with her covered in blood and the paramedics desperately trying to save the young boys made the front page of the paper. It was so shocking and I could not see the need for it, except to seel papers. It was a horrible event, no doubt, but who realy benefits from seeing stories like these plastered all over the headlines in print and other media?
When you think about all the horrible, truly newsworthy stuff that's going on locally and around the world, it is amazing that for a full year people chose to let themselves be duped into following a court case that is of absolutely no consequence to them.
she looks like she's trying to swallow the mike
