I love watching the "Comedy Festival" some good standups in there.

At last! A thread I can highlight my eccentricity on!

    Rodney Dangerfield

For some years now, ever since catching his act on the Leno show, I've wanted to go to 'Vegas just to see it. It was always one of those "If we win Lotto..." dreams. Anyway, a bit of extra money did come our way and I made the booking; I let my conservatism get the better of me and cancelled the booking, citing better uses for the money. I might still end up doing it, one day... (sigh)

Back to School is one of my all time favourite films, especially now that I'm attending university as a mature age student!

    I love

Jimoin (his facial expressions are so cute!)

Elliott Globlett (for his lack of facial expressions)

    and

Seinfeld (he's returned to doing stand-up again)

Have to agree with Dave Allen and Jack Dee (who was by far the most entertaining guy on Celebrity Big Brother!)

But how about lesser known Lou Eisen?
I posted this snippet of his a few months ago but here it again for anyone who missed it.

I saw irony in action today for the first time ever.

I went out for breakfast this morning with my girlfriend, saw a Jehovah's Witness lock himself out of his own house. Kept ringing the bell. Nobody would answer the damn door.

From Lou Eisens' 'Rhapsody in Lou'.
I laughed so hard I nearly wet myself!!

My New Favorite Comedian is Maria Bamford.

I also love Penn & Teller, Margaret Cho, Caroline Rhea, and of course, Steven Wright. I have a special affection for Drew Carey (being a Clevelander).

    That's all for now...
