Have to agree with bugeye
Dave Allen - did you ever see the one about teaching your child to tell the time?
Also Billy Connolly
Lee Evans (but only when he's doing stand up, the sitcoms he does are crap)

I've got to say Steven Wright also. One of my favorite things is his cameo in "So I Married an Axe Murderer".

Dana Carvey is hilarious. Very funny when he did the Church Lady on Saturday Night Live, definitely my all time favorite character.
A very close second, the late Gilda Radner, who was hilarious as Roseanne Rosanna Danna.
My favorite comedians are Denis Leary, George Carlin, Chris Rock, and these two hysterical fellows:
Dave Attell (a man after my own heart )
and this next guy. I usually go through a whole box of Depends during one of his shows.
Dane Cook
rizzzzzzzzzzy
Who cares if Dane Cooks even funny
Haha well I agree with all of you folks. I do like Reta Rudner's style though shes so dry and dang funny, Paula Poundstones plane rutine slays me everytime. Anyone form SNL is great! Chris Rock ohh ya, ok I like them all!!! oohhh and who can forget George Burns and Gracie Allen!!!!

All-time favs: Chris Rock - common sense up-in-yo-face humor. Love this dude. All-time fav.
Steven Wright - Turning intellectuality upside down and inside out.
Paul Mooney - Used to write for Richard Pryor. Funny as hell.
Red Foxx/Richard Pryor - The originals.
Robin Williams - The comic equivalent to a of a hit off a crack-pipe.
Dennis Miller - Funny as hell especially if you have a Webster's Dictionary handy.
**On a side note- Venice IT, yeah you Ven....that new pic is FLY. You rocking that new 'do......
