I have confiscated the rockets that he bought or 'The Family Slayers'!!!!! as I have named them and bought Roman Candles and fountains instead. As I have said to him, I'd like to keep all five kids and my eyes if possible well into the new year!
M.J. When I was a practicing witness, New Years was the one worldly celebration many didn't have a problem with. At least the 20 somethings. Probably because they were all budding alcoholics. Drinking is the one vice allowed, so it seems that all the kids growing up JW tended to overdo it. At least until they got into pot.
No plans. Then again, NYC is only 30 mins. away! I should go this year since it won't be cold out for a change.
Staying home.
My older sister bought a new house with a huuuge basement, complete with pool table. Our whole extended family will come together there for a pool tournament... and hopefully find a spot for dancing in her home as well! Then we all crash there--or at my other sister's place nearby. We'll all have a Christmas meal and small gift exchange for the kids on Saturday.
I enjoy the company of my family! They are really fun and great people.

going to ring in the new year at church. taking snacks, drinks, and games (sorry, dominos, checkers, uno, and whatever other game we can find). a few othersare bringing video games for the kids. a good time should be had by all.

Wallowing in a sea of loneliness. i think it's time for a new plan.
Gonna go out and kill some of my brain cells with mass quantities of adult beverages. I'm checkin out 3 pretty good local bands. Hopefully I'm not still drunk when I get up for work the next mornin.
