It seems that Raj (being new here and possibly not all that familiar with english as a first language) didn't know how to start a new thread so tacked on his own circumstances to this thread.
Raj, your girlfriend is allowed to attend if she doesn't have to perform anything religious. It is up to her though and you can only tell her how much it means to you. You have to ask yourself how you would feel if you were married to her and she refused to attend.
