I recognize that guy's name from my previous adventures as a JW in Internet-land. He's just being a good, meek, sheeplike JW and doing whatever he is told ... even when it doesn't make sense.
I used to be on a JW list where users would share files and programs for PDAs. Files were often publications that were in a special format for use on PDAs. Useful for dubs, but the WTS frowns on this totally. No passing of electronic files containing WT publications allowed.
The "good" JWs blindly followed this and stopped sharing files... some even deleting them. The more stubborn JWs still trade files anyway, and make up some shit like "it's a conscience matter" even though the WTS is plain in their verbage. It's humorous and sad at the same time.

I think this is a great thing.
If the WTBTS asks all the good dubs to pull down their "unofficial" pro JW sites, all that will be left are the "official" anti- JW sites, so when you type in jehovah's witnesses, chances are you are going to get an apostate site

I pray a quick death to the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society! No doubt Rutherford backed Hitler, the WTS still backs the totalitarian existence of anti Christos. These bastards need to be silenced themselves! Hopefully soon more will see these false prophets behavior and their self serving rule books and will leave, before more families are destroyed and children abused under the cloak of "true religion."

Making such a big deal over a Bible translation! If I were those two guys I would "can" that worthless piece of misinformation and substitute it with the New Jerusalem Bible or some other Bible. That would really chafe the Watchtower Society!

That's what I thought Kenneson,
Why not just use another translation? Doesn't make much sense to stop completely and close the web site when there are so many bible translations out there.
