It was my impression that this was a new version of the old show, "Land of the Lost". Remember... Sleestacks.

Yuk! That was such a terrible show! I can't believe I used to watch it as a kid. What drek!

Actually Lost reminds me of Amazon, a syndicated series by Peter Benchley (of Jaws fame) about 5 years ago. They did the same story/character development with lots of cliffhangers. There were only 6 main characters though. It was just getting interesting (with Margot Kidder as a cannibal) when it was canceled. I'm glad Lost is doing so well in the ratings so that we will probably get to see the whole story unfold before it bows it's final curtain.

Everyone, keep an eye on the new show"Medium" will be on Monday's at 7cst..NBC It is about a woman who was going to be a lawyer but found she had psychic abilities. In the eposide I saw, they had her at a crime scene involving a 17 yr old pediofile. It was really good and I'm looking forward to seeing another eposide. Now my only problem is going to be when "American Idol" comes on. I really like the show, but if i have to choose between it and "lost" well , no contest. "Lost" wins.

Lost is an extremely captivating show and I watch week after week.

But does anyone else feel that when we finally figure out what's going on and have all the answers we're in for a huge disappointment? I mean, how long can they keep the charades up?

Look at JJ Abrams' other show, Alias. The show has completely transformed several times over, to the point where it's almost back to square one. And this show has quite a few contradictions and unresolved plot threads. And cliffhanger-ending letdowns.

I love and keep watching both, though.

They have some fantastic writers on this show.

One day when the show ends, I don't think it will disappoint at all.

Which one is Shannon? Can't remember her.

I think Shannon is the pretty, spoiled, asthmatic who speaks a little French. She's usually seen working on her tan...which gives the show a chance to show some very nice skin.

Wed: Medium was Ok, I am spoiled cause I liked Profiler, but if they develop the character more it will be a good show.

Okay............guess I never noticed her name. This show has a huge cast. We started watching it late, but are caught up now, thanks to the reruns over the holidays.
