Jesus did say "Our father who is in heaven hallowed be thy name" and he also said he had made God's name known and would do so again. So, yes God's name is important. I think though that the actual pronunciation of the Divine name is not important. What is important making known the purposes (will) of God and God's righteousness, holiness, etc., as these are the things that are God's reputation or name.

Well right now the ONLY group that claims exclusivity to the name JEHOVAH as it's calling card are the Dubs.
If JEHOVAH is the true "God's" name (in English), semantics aside...
Than he has a TERRIBLE PR problem. He picked and supposedly directs a totally dysfuntional, hypocritical, inbred, self-righteous, egotistical org.- He couln't have done worse ( well maybe alittle worse).
"SATAN" on the other hand has awesome PR and gets the job done. Hmmmmm
