The Watctower Society demonizes the internet. There have been many unsubstantiated reports that have been proven false on the 'net. And there have been some very helpful sources here. Are YOU a big supporter of the internet or do you use with caution??

I never used the internet to look at so-called "apostate" stuff. I was a very obedient Dub.

What's amazing is that I've always kept my thoughts to myself (my observations). Then I stumble onto this site and WOW, I'm not as original as I thought I was. Very relieved actually. Now I can't get enough. This is what I've been looking for- a true discussion forum!

All I know is that I am addicted to the internet and have been ever since it started. I love it all, the handy information, the online dictionaries, Ebay, shopping, chat rooms, etc.

The people who caution against it are probably the same people who thought telephones (back in the day) were going to lead people astray.

It's like an elderly Baptist lady told us recently NOT to have dancing at our own wedding.. I asked my then-fiance, "what is dancing going to lead to? Sex? Because we're getting married, the wedding is the thing leading to sex" Just ABSURD!

Justtickledpink! Anything can lead to sex if you're feeling that way inclined.

As for the internet, I love it and would miss it if I didn't or couldn't use it.

The reason why the bOrg hate it is because it WILL lead to their decline eventually as more and more people access the net. It's a god send.

I love the internet!! there is so much FREE PORN!!! No, but seriously, I love the fact that i can instantly be in touch with my family in the States.

The Internet is a valuable resource for my work, and I'm using it constantly. I'm sure it accelerated my exit from the Watchtower because of the amount of information available.

I also waste far too much time on it.

living with a housebound man the internet really helps make his/our lives easier.

we can pay bills online. i order books online. i have a few message boards i post at and i keep in touch with some dear friends thru email. its also an awesome research tool. i never give him a new prescription without first looking it up and making sure its not going to interfere with other things he takes or eats. (cant always depend on pharmacists) we order pizza online, also, if i had to do without poppit or word mojo i'd probably die.

You have to marvel at it, dont you? Look at the things you can do, the people you can keep in contact with. Sending pictures and vidoe images around the globe. Buy whatever you like without leaving your armchair. I dont think I've brought a newspaper for ages, as I can acess all the news and sport that I need...The Borg does worry, as they are powerless to moniter the things that the more curious of JW's can now access. Lets face it, how many closet JW's read this site each day..(If the elders knew, you'd be in trouble..tut tut tut!!)
