    Hi d0rkyd00d
I do not know what cause these circles. But one thing is for sure.
There are hoaxes yes, and some others circles that cant be given a
    reasonable explanation on.
Here is some example of hoaxes

compare these images with this one

Here is a statement from a known hoaxer in England

The fallow days between Christmas and the New Year are typically a time when individuals in the public eye, policy-makers or large corporations quietly approach the media with retractions, U-Turns in policy or controversial legislations, the general public being otherwise too distracted by hangovers, celebrations or end-of-year sales. For proof, just look at the number of controversial bills passed by the US Congress alone every New Year's eve, which very few people are aware of.
It was in this spirit that small articles appeared in the British press on Sunday, December 27, 1998, bearing statements by Doug Bower- surviving half of infamous Doug and Dave hoaxer duo- claiming that "an unknown force" told him to do the crop circles.
The pair claimed in 1991 that they had made all the crop circles in southern England since 1978 (about 2000 at that point, including those reported from around the world). Unfortunately they could not provide a shred of evidence at the time. During a confrontation with researchers in front of the media, the pair made one small circle with planks and string that bore an artistic ability more in keeping with the damage caused by a rough wind than the surgical precision associated with the phenomenon. When later challenged on specific facts by researchers, they retracted or re-worded they original claims, mostly away from the media eye.
They have since became media celebrities despite not being able to produce any of the anomalies associated with genuine crop circles. Researcher George Wingfield eventually traced their original story to a company in Somerset that carries out research on top secret military projects.
Whatever Doug and Dave's motives or backers, it now seems that even the phenomenon's most public hoaxer believes there is more at work in the fields than the hand of man.

    Okidok,
Thanks I have it bookmarked to look at later. I just wanted to jump in and give some tech support If you put a space or even a "." in front of your links they will become clickable. You can even go back and edit your post by clicking on the pen and paper icon above each post. I bet if you make all of the links clickable, the lazy ones will check this out too

In a controversy the instant we feel anger, we have already ceased striving for the truth, and have begun striving for ourselves.

I like the theory of the crop circles being "pranks" by bored alien teenagers.
If taken in that context, most if not all UFO encounters become a little more believable.

I wonder, why do always crop circles have to be connected to aliens and UFO's, as the second explanation after hoaxes?

    Åge,

I wonder, why do always crop circles have to be connected to aliens and UFO's, as the second explanation after hoaxes?

Probably because it's the least likely explanation people can come up with. Conspirationists have only one requirement for believing something: that's it's ridiculously unlikely to be true. To them, that is almost definite evidence that it is a fact.

Me, too, am partial to the theory that visiting alients are bored teenagers.

Think about all the alleged UFO crashes. Typical reckless teenage behaviour, and teenagers also can't afford proper quality vehicles (Don't buy your UFO at Slimey Sam's Used UFO sales, folks!). Not to mention that those UFOs are supposed to remain hidden, but are seen by thousands of people. Probably playing too loud music. Whenever they try to erase people's memory, they fail. They seem to have had sex with countless women, a typical evidence they are horny teenagers. And since certain teenagers are a pest for the environment, it also explain why they are here: their home planets simply wanted to get rid of them. Thus, they have nothing better to do than doing pranks on our crops, and perhaps mutilate some of our domestic animals (we'd better not speculate how or why; some clues may be provided above ).

Maybe these crop circles are made by "bored, teenage, JW aliens"!!! They're supposed to be out in field service!!! ;)

Maybe when their alien parents said to go out into the "field", the teenage aliens got it all wrong! :) Heehee!
