Poisonally, I'd rather be a sceptic than a cynic. Sceptics tend to think things through, whereas cynics take the easy way of broadbrush critisism and grumpy ol' men. (organised religion and watchtower cults excempted)

Cynic:
Someone who doubts or denies the goodness of human motives, and often displays this attitude by sneers, sarcasm etc...
Sceptic:
1 Someone who questions the validity or authenticity of something purporting to be knowledge.
2 Someone who mistrusts and who maintains a doubting pessimistic attitude towards people, plans, ideas etc..
3 Someone who doubts the 'truth' of christian religion or of important elements of it.

Well said. Just2Laws, Joyzabel and family are beautiful, good-hearted people and I am quite sure they were such when they were JW's also.
