I've got a thread going on in another discussion board about this and one poster posted this.

My daughter said she'd told herself she'd never say "Because I told you to, that's why!" She said she couldn't believe her own ears the first time it came tripping over her lips. LOL Now it's her 'standard' come-back!

I also said I'd never would say "BECAUSE I'm the parent, that's why."
