Yours would be the first I've ever heard of someone possibly being df'ed for asking questions

I love people who use this kind of logic. "Because I've never heard of it happening, It has'nt happened, lalalalalalal!!!!" I personall know folks that this has happened too. And ahve heard of many more.

That is because YOU FIN have your head so far in the sand. How many DFing announcements have you heard in your career of a peddler for the WTBS? They don't say what somebody was DF'd/DA'd for. It is left to the rest of the congregation to SPECULATE, and what a bunch of horseshit stories those are.

When you hear from the speaker "SOANDSO" is DA'd, what the hell you think they DA'd over? I will tell you. Questions about the WTBS that can't be answered from the BIBLE.

You are a sorry excuse for a JW. According to the WTBS policies YOU would be DF'd/DA'd if you where found out to be talking/associating with DF'd persons and Apostates. If you don't think that is the truth, why don't you let your local elder body in on your "dirty little" secret. Oh and don't lie about how you where just LURKING here. 240+ posts puts you so far in the sh@t pile, that your up to you neck in it.

afin: Maybe it is showing REAL concern for you by steering in the right direction?

There you have it, folks! As far as I am concerned there is no need to discus this further with a friend in need. She believes she has shown real concern by steering me to (1) the elders and (2) watchtower.org - as that is the direction she steered me. She called it, "the right direction." Afin, are you currently a baptized publisher in good standing in a congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses?

I only ask to make sure that the following run-on sentence is correct: "A friend in need," junior member senior member of an apostate Web site and baptized publisher in good standing in his/her congregation, does not claim the Bible as "the right direction" for people with questions to find answers, instead s/he claims that the right direction is watchtower.org and the elders and s/he goes so far in asserting that claim that s/he denies requests for Scriptures to prove doctrinal beliefs.

Do you not see what a terribly bad witness your response has been? I wouldn't have to twist two syllables of your response for it to be directly contradictory to the Scriptures throughout.

    Pityingly,

I love you too .. avishai .. double at that.

If someone was df'd for asking questions ... there had to be more to it than that .. and you know it.

True. Refusing to "wait on Jehovah" for answers. How would Jehovah provide the answers? By means of prayer (got that), his holy spirit (got that), study of the Bible (got that), and his Channel? (Patent Pending, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of NewYork, Inc.), of course!

Why, this produces an unresolvable circle of logic, a Catch-22 if you will - the proof you are asking for is Scriptural proof that the Channel is an organization but you must patiently wait for the organization to reveal that light!

There does not have to be any more to it than that. Shadow, am I correct? No need to comment further than yes, or no on this point. Could I have been disfellowshipped for asking these questions of my BOE and refusing to "wait on Jehovah" for answers?

Any elder? Just a yes or no? Please help this person understand what happens in reality.

    Pleadingly,
    OldSoul

I asked whether you are baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and whether you are in good standing in your congregation. Do you deny your faith as well, Peter? Are you ashamed of your standing or lack thereof in your congregation?

AFIN. Reasoning From the Scriptures. In answer to questions Jesus quoted scriptures..Page 7 Share with them what the Bible says. It's ok to use Reasoning from the Scriptures to answer Old Soul"s honest questions. Why don't you give it a try?
