  As long as they are going to sacrifice truth on the altars of the idols "descrete slave" and "unity" - they make all marching into one direction. Even if t is the way of the lemmings, wrong - while they burn those who act in regard to their own conscience while they recognize things as wrong, this club of Whisky-sneakers is acting in harmony with the great opposer: prosecuting and persecuting christians who are engaged to find the real answers. It is very arrogant to demand from christians to do what they want.

  We are not slaves of any organisation. we are christians who have dedicated their lifes to god. And the GB could give recommendments, but they should always been measured by their own meter.

  The have their mene tekel too, and will pay a high price.

  Like the leaders of Israel (10 tribes) of Judah at times of Daniel and of Judah at the times of the apostles - they are corrupt and start apostacy at themselves. This is in accordance to the scripture that says that the end will not come before the apostacy starts.

  I can sympathise a great deal with the thrust of this argument but....

  To know for certain they are not what they claim and to still manipulate poor people that trust them is a crime

  Is that really true? Do they (the individual members of the GB) know that they are not what they claim i.e. members of a privileged 'class'?

  They must know. They are informed of the legal stragy,,they DF people for disbelief without any consideration for the effect it will have on the person they are to be faithful and descreet over. How many people have committed suicide because of the treatment of elders under the control of the GB with thier heartless rules with no mercy only technicalities. They know how to word things to fool the freinds,,they are masters of deception who will use any means available with no thought of suffereings they inflict on innocent trusting people. People who slaved for them when they were tricked into beleiveing they were God's Organization.

  I just can't beleive the GB and other higher ups can plot the way they do and not know they are pulling the wool over the Rank and File eyes for so long and so cunningly,, they do it well.

  That type of ploting your next move implys great dishonesty,, to be so blatantly dishonest has to be proof they know the what type of lie they are protecting to keep from full exposer.

  BTW I think it is too late for them I feel it in my bones,,they have met their time just like Hitler met his and no escape no turning back because once they stop DFing they are gonners. They have made too many enemies and the amont of enemies grows faster and faster each day.

  Caveat

  I think that Oz has a valid point. He hit it right on the head when he implied that these people are convinced that they are doing what is their duty.

  No organization can survive without secrets. Those secrets are treated like a very dangerous tools in your garage that serve a purpose but are hidden from your kids to avoid harming them.

  This is the way I think these people rationalize when they operate. They will never see the contradictions since all their lives are invested on these facts. Where should they go if they are somehow relieved from their power positions? The survival of the status quo is directly proportional with their own wellbeing. Otherwise they only feel their lives were wasted if such thing ever happens. A lot invested indeed.

  They do not deceive, because they are themselves deceived. They accepted at face value what was handled down to them and these things were perpetuated as cast in stone truths. They guard it like the family jewels.

  Your IRS/Swiss Accounts theory is very compelling indeed… but I think it will somehow be clearly evident since greed does not typically take many precautions (as it has been with other preachers and religions thru history).

  The talking points from the WTS discussing the validity of the Org:

  1) God always uses an organization (begin with a false premise to start internal logic)

  2) God uses imperfect men (proved by rediculous accounts of Moses, Aaron, David, etc, etc etc)

  3) The Governing Body is not "inspired" (but they are "spirit directed" and "God's Channel"??)

  4) This has caused the GB to make adjustments (in every sense of understatement)

  5) But if we do not follow the "slave" (and here's the mantra...) where else would we go?

  6) Other organizations obviously do not have God's blessing (Note we need an org, see point #1)

  I don't know maybe we then should start our own religion then, like Charles Russel did!?

  Methinks the WTS is on a COD basis with the fella upstairs and it's been awhile since the last order.

  I think that some one posted on here somewhere that he heard from a reliable source that all the GB and other higher ups have read Ray Franz's books and feel he makes some valid points. Now I know this is hear say and not admissible in a court of law,,but we are just wondering if the GB are truley morally bankrupt and deliberately know there is no way in hell they can be the leaders of jehovah's earthly Organization,,but continue to write articles that make the friends follow them and sacrifice their lifes if nessarry to protect and horror the "Organization"
