I'm kicking myself now after reading Country Woman's description of Flat Stanley. Why didn't I do a scan of him and post him here?

So here he is: Flat Stanley (he did walked the dogs out - thats why he is on the dike)

Rhys was very excited to see the picture of Flat Stanley! He got Morty's post card this week and is looking forward to hearing from the Netherlands and then Sweden. Big grins from Rhys...

His teacher is just amazed at the number of cards Rhys is getting. She said he averages one a week. Many of the kids projects have pretty much failed and aren't getting cards anymore. Rhys' Stanley is going strong and have a ball it seems!

I saw a picture of Clint Eastwood at the Oscars holding a Flat Stanley. How cool to be the kid who sent THAT one!

That is so cool Rachel! I think Clint even mentioned Flat Stanley on the Regis show after the Oscars.

What's next for Stanley? Hubert is looking toward Asia. "Imagine if kids in Asia were to exchange Flat Stanleys with the West and develop a positive relationship with the kids back and forth," Hubert said. "And then, when these kids get a little bit older and maybe assume positions of authority in society, it might improve the way they look at each other and -- we've got Flat Stanley for world peace."

How about Flat Stanley for President? LOL

Ok Flat Stanley arrived today. I don´t know what CW and he has been up to but he is not speaking anymore. Those coffee places in Amsterdam........ He don´t know where to fly from here, he think´s that Stockholm sucks so if somebody have a spare bedroom for a night or two he´s interested.
